Choose your county to see the county seat, the cities we cover, where to ask about permits and inspections, and how to check a
contractor before you hire. We currently cover 15 North Carolina counties.
How this tool works
Pick a county and the tool shows everything we have for it in one place: the county seat, the region it belongs to, the
cities with contractor listings, and links to permit and verification resources. Permit and inspection rules for crawl space
work are set locally, so the permit link takes you to the entry for your county's building inspections office. Always confirm
the current requirements with that office before work begins, because rules and fees can change.
If your city is not listed yet, contractors from nearby cities and statewide companies may still serve you. The regional
directory link shows every contractor in the area. Homeowners in New Hanover and Onslow counties also get a link to our guide
on flood zones, because coastal crawl spaces face extra rules and risks.
Before you hire anyone, read how to check an NC contractor's license
and NC building code for closed crawl spaces.
To understand the work itself, see our crawl space encapsulation service overview
or the closed crawl space glossary entry. Still have questions?
